Yes, it’s a corny title! I never claimed to be creative with words haha! Baby “E” was too cute though and looked darling in a tutu. She was fast but super fun!

This adorable couple will find out if “it” is a he or she very soon. I felt bad calling their unborn “it” during the entire session and can’t wait to meet little Miss “B” or little Mr. “B” soon. My guess is a girl but I’ve been known to have VERY bad guesses when it comes to gender! Either way, good luck to the “B” family on their expected arrival!

These three sisters were dressed to impress! Mom did a wonderful job of coordinating them in super colorful and fun outfits. Be sure to keep an eye out for a review of our session on the Toledo Mom’s Blog.

If you had any idea how difficult it was to get a shot of all three girls together, you’d totally appreciate this image. It may not be perfect but the fact that all three girls are looking at the camera and are happy is quite an accomplishment!

I was so relieved to have a studio session scheduled because I’m having absolutely no luck with location shoots! Our weather has not cooperated at all. Thank goodness the weather is always perfect in my studio! What was more perfect was this sweet little bundle of newborn goodness I got to photograph. He was SOOOOO cute and just perfect in every way.

We have a little cove in our backyard that is the perfect spot for pictures. I’ve been wanting to get a few images of my youngest, Ainsley, back there for months now and with overcast skies and a cute little pink skirt, the time seemed just right. That is, until we got back there and started shooting and the sun came out for the first time that day. Ugh! Blaring sun plus a semi-wooded area equals dappled light. A photographer’s nightmare! If Ainsley wasn’t being surprisingly cooperative, I would have probably postponed the shoot for another day but somehow when it’s your own little one, the technical imperfections just aren’t as noticeable. All I see is my beautiful little girl! Isn’t she cute?!?!?!

My latest maternity client came to me from Portage, Michigan. It was a pleasure meeting her and her lovely family and I was honored that they chose to make the drive so I could photograph this special time for them. Denise was darling and had the tiniest, most perfect pregnant belly ever. She looked like a super model!

We were very lucky to be able to squeeze this session in between the spurts of rain. I was afraid we’d have to reschedule again when it poured shortly after arriving to our location but it stopped almost as quickly as it started and we were able to carry on. Good thing too because little “S” is absolutely adorable and we had a great time just roaming around the park. Aren’t her eyes stunningly beautiful?!?

I brought a picnic basket full of lemons and limes to match her beautiful yellow skirt and she immediately tried to bite into a lemon!
It didn’t taste good hahahaha!
We played peekaboo with a scarf!

I’m finally back to share more from my lovely maternity. This couple brought along their current “children” – two adorable dogs – and we had a fun time getting them in the shots as well. Their little girl dog was all about the camera and probably would have been in every shot if we had let her!
I think this crazy little pooch rules the household!

I only have time to share one from my latest maternity session but I’ll come back and post more tomorrow. I picked this one because I absolutely adore the greenery against her beautiful dress. It helps that she’s gorgeous too! Just one for now…

This little 4-month-old was amazingly animated. He came into the studio with a huge smile on his face so I knew he’d be fun. He had so many adorable smiles and faces!

Baby “S” started getting a tad fussy towards the end of our session and we quickly found out why. When mom gave him his blankie and pacifier to help soothe him, he nearly fell asleep on my beanbag. The poor little guy was sleepy!
