I had a really hard time picking images to put on my blog from this family session.  I loved all of them!  This family was amazingly sweet and fun to photograph.  It wasn’t until after the shoot that I found out that the mom’s husband is a fallen soldier and this session was to help identify she and her son as a family of 2.  So very sad

So what do you do when you’re in the middle of a corn field and you’re trying to make it look like you’re NOT in the middle of a corn field?  You shoot UP!  The sky was so beautiful and blue, it almost makes you feel like you’re at the beach (just ignore the top of those corn stalks in the background haha!).

Photographing this next family was such a treat.  They had the most awesome corn field in their backyard and I felt like a kid in a candy store when I saw it!  Couple the beautiful golden brown corn field with the gorgeous bright blue sky, and you get nothing but amazing color.  We took this shot at the very end when C was just playing around.  Love it!

I’ve been photographing this family for a few years now starting with the youngest girl when she was just a teeny tiny newborn.  It’s so fun watching them all grow and boy have they!
