This handsome 2-year-old had tons of energy! I only wish I could bottle it up and take a swig haha.

June 15, 2011I had a blast doing this session. When we were scheduling this, the mom asked if there was anything that I’ve been dying to photograph (can I just say I love when people give me creative freedom!) and I immediately thought of a dress up tea party in the woods. Unfortunately, seriously wet ground and a whole slew of mosquitos put a damper on the woods part of the session but we quickly moved on to Plan B and I was so happy with what we came up with! These little girls were dressed in the cutest princess gowns and fully decked out with jewelry and hair pieces. Thank goodness mom came prepared with juice boxes because they weren’t really into the “pretend” aspect of the tea party hahaha!

Remembering – Toledo Family Photographer
March 16, 2011Today was the birthday of a very dear friend and the godfather of my children who passed away suddenly in January. My oldest daugher, the closest to her godfather, wanted to do something special to remember and honor him on his birthday. She decided that she wanted to release balloons with a special message attached so that he could receive it in heaven ♥ It couldn’t be just any color balloon though. See, her godfather was color blind and the only color he seemed to recognize was orange. Regan insisted that all the balloons be orange so that he could see them better when they arrived in heaven. Smart girl! I thought I’d share a glimpse into our evening with you. It was very special for us all ♥

I took the newborn portraits of their newest addition and mom mentioned that she would like to come back so that I could photograph the rest of her children. What a pleasure it was! Something About That Name – Toledo Child Photographer
January 17, 2011I photographed a newborn recently with the cutest name. I LOVED it! What are the chances that I’d have another little girl in my studio so soon with the exact same name? They were both equally as adorable, too. Sweet T is the big sister to a recent newborn that I had the pleasure of capturing. End of the Year – Toledo Child Photographer
December 29, 2010With 2010 coming to a close, I’ve been scurrying to get things wrapped up. I have a few more orders to ship out and several left to blog so hopefully today will be productive! No blog post is complete without a picture so here’s some more from my holiday card “shoot” with my own children. It was a very quick but efficient shoot. I think saying it lasted 5 minutes total is actually a stretch haha.
Oh Boy! – Toledo Newborn Photographer
December 20, 2010I’m not much of a black and white photographer. My preference almost always goes to color but every once in awhile, a black and white image strikes me. I loved this image in color but it seemed absolutely perfect in a monotone fashion. After 3 beautiful girls, this lovely family welcomed their first baby boy. What a lovely addition! Just this one for now…
