I think I’ve decided to add a separate gallery on my Website for one-year-old cake smashes! They have become so popular and I adore sharing how they turn out. Here are two recent “Smashers”!

Baby E was, by far, my messiest smasher to date but ironically, had no interest in eating the cake at all!

Baby L was a bit more interested in eating the cake than Baby E but I think ultimately, his goal was to see just how much green frosting he could accumulate on his hands haha!

First things first, I did want to let everyone know that May is completely full so I am now booking into June. If you are pregnant and would like newborn portraits done, please contact me as soon as possible so I can get you on my schedule (based on your due date). I can only accept a certain number of newborns a month and several months are nearly full! Also, if you are part of my baby plan, please be sure to contact me about 6 weeks prior to your baby’s milestone to schedule your session. We’re hitting the very busy season and I want to make sure everyone gets the times and dates they want!

With that out of the way, take a look at this perfect little princess. I think this may very well be one of my all time favorite newborn sessions. I’m so happy with how the color combo came together and this sweet princess was an absolute gem to photograph!

In an effort to get caught up as well as show off all the cuteness I’ve seen in the studio recently, I decided to consolidate a little. Here’s a collage of some of the adorable kiddos I have had the pleasure to photograph. Aren’t they all gorgeous?!?

A note to expectant parents: PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE be sure to contact me far before your baby’s due date if you would like a newborn session. I have recently had to turn away several newborns because I am fully booked by the time they call and it’s usually AFTER the baby has already been born. It’s always a good idea to get on my calendar as far in advance as possible to avoid this disappointment. Thank you!

I admit it, I’ve been a horrible blogger lately. Between illness (have you heard about my broken ribs???) and my kids’ Spring Break, it just seems like there is very little time. You may see me more often on Facebook, but even that’s been hit or miss lately! Hopefully, I can find more time because I have lots to share! Here’s a recent mini maternity session I did. I can’t wait to meet baby Lyla soon!

Purple and pink – two of my very favorite colors! I was excited when this little one’s mama requested them for our session. They look so lovely together!

Clients, PLEASE NOTE: I only have one more weekday evening session left open for April. All weekends are booked. For May, I only have one weekend left and 2 weekday evenings. That’s it! Call me ASAP if interested!

I recently photographed two adorable and VERY messy 1st birthday cake smashes. It’s always funny to watch how each child reacts to these. Some scream in horror at the cake while others demolish everything in sight. Both of these cuties were very found of their birthday treat.

This baby girl was super and I really played up the pink for her newborn shoot. A girl can never have too much pink!

Is Winter Over Yet? – Toledo Ohio Baby Photographer

While the weather this winter has been undeniably mild, the sickness that typically goes hand and hand with winter been anything but. Our family has been hit hard by illness so far in the New Year and it seems we aren’t alone. Everyone I talk to is down for the count. Is winter over yet??? I sure hope so, or at least, soon. After battling Influenza for the first time since I was like 8-years-old, I don’t think my body can stand much more. The flu is no joke and next year, I’ll be getting my shot!

Thanks so much to all of my very understanding and patient clients this past week! As of today, all orders that were placed prior to Feb. 28th have been shipped and all outstanding galleries have been uploaded for viewing. All emails and phone calls have been returned. If you sent an email and did not get a response, please send it again! Ahhhhhhhhhhh. That’s my big, huge sigh of relief! I truly dislike being behind and it totally gnaws on me until I’m caught up!

One thing I’m not caught up on is blogging. It’ll be a delayed response for a few weeks, I’m afraid. There’s just too much to share, however, we’ve got to start somewhere. Here’s baby L’s first birthday session. I adored this cake smash and I’m a bit partial to the colors haha.
