I was blessed with the opportunity to photograph an amazing group of children and teenagers during a promotional shoot for Kids Cancer Crusade, an organization that offers support to families affected by pediatric cancers. Kim – as a fellow photographer, I hope you don’t mind me commenting that your images are beautiful – none more so than these children pictured suffering or having suffered from cancer. Our own daughter (who turned 3 this week) is in remission from a stage 3 Wilms’ tumour, I have thought about organising a similar shoot – esp during our upcoming cancer awareness month in September.
