I absolutely adore maternity sessions. I feel like I can really get my creative juices flowing and I love working with light to create a mood. This wonderful family was so easy going and fun to work with. They came with lots of great ideas and were open to many of mine as well. I can’t wait to meet their new baby girl in a few weeks. I will be out of town July 9-13 and I’m going to try my hardest to tie up all loose ends prior to my departure. I’ve been super busy getting sessions edited, prints ordered and packaged and responding to the many emails and phone calls I have had. I’m still a bit behind but I truly appreciate how patient everyone has been. Thank you! I’ll leave you now with a picture I took during my last location shoot. I happened to spot this beautiful scene while trying to keep up with my young clients and was able to take only one shot but I LOVE it! I adore the depth and tranquility.

Sweet baby “O” was absolutely perfect and her parents were so much fun to work with. This amazing baby girl was so easy going and up for just about anything. I couldn’t ask for a better session! I have to send a special thanks to her daddy who was the best assistant I’ve ever worked with. I wish I could hire him!
Sweet baby “L” is the newest addition to an absolutely wonderful family. The bright lights and commotion kept her curious and she made us work for each shot! I think she’s going to be one tired little girl this evening. We still managed to get some great pictures and I can’t wait to finish them all!

The best part about having a blog is that I get to show off my little ones as well. I was playing around in the studio with my youngest. She has the most amazing eyes and I thought the baby blue really made them pop.
I had the pleasure of doing the maternity AND newborn session for this wonderful family. Mr. L was a delightful Christmas surprise for his mom and dad. Could there be a better Christmas gift? Mr. L was very excited by everything going on during the session and decided to remain awake through most of it but with mom’s help, he eventually dozed off. What a sweet little boy he was. Since I loved mom’s maternity session so much, I couldn’t resist showing one of my favorite’s along with Mr. L’s session.
